The final stop of E'LAST's 'Thrill North America Tour' has been canceled.
On May 20 local time, E Entertainment posted to Weverse, announcing that the New York City show was canceled, meaning that the 'Thrill North America Tour' concluded a stop early in Chicago. They also alleged that the complications from the tour were largely caused by errors made by touring company MC Entertainment, and they intend to take legal action against them.
The statement reads as follows:
"Hello, this is E Entertainment.
We are informing you that the last performance of the 'Thrill North America Tour' in New York has been canceled.
Over the past month of the tour, MC Entertainment failed to meet the terms of the contract, including flight tickets and accommodation reservations, insufficient preparation of concert halls, and forced performance at impossible venues.
In the case of New York City, MC Entertainment notified us of a one-sided cancellation a day before the performance, and as we and the artists had a strong intention to proceed with the performance, we tried to find other possibilities, but MC Entertainment did not allow us to do so.
We will take legal action against any breach of contract, so we have decided to take legal action against MC Entertainment to prevent this from happening in the future.
We would like to express our understanding and appreciation to the fans who waited.
Thank you."
Meanwhile, as previously reported, E Entertainment had also canceled the Atlanta stop of E'LAST's tour on May 18.
From their website, it looks like MC Entertainment primarily (even "only") does weddings. 🤨 I question E Entertainment for hiring them.
