Brown Eyed Girls' Narsha offered some advice to fellow artists who are part of a group, sharing insights on the crucial elements needed to ensure the group's longevity and continued success.
On the latest episode of IHQ's culinary program, 'Why is this Delicious?,' aired on May 30, special guests Narsha and JeA from Brown Eyed Girls showcased their culinary skills. They intrigued viewers by introducing an unconventional taco recipe featuring ingredients such as duck feet, tongue, and organs.
JeA shared that she is really good at cooking, and her best dish is Pad Thai. On the other hand, Narsha shared that she is not too fond of cooking when the MC asked, "Do you cook? It's been a while since you've been married." Narsha responded by sharing, "That has nothing to do with cooking. Cooking should be done by a cook...Why should there be chefs?" making everyone laugh.
On this day, The MC asked about any updates on Brown Eyed Girls. Narsha replied, "There is no particular update," and added, "The last album we released was in 2019. We usually release albums every 4 years. It's around the time we release an album."
The MC asked if the members often meet when they are not promoting new music, and Narsha replied, "We gather together during birthdays or anniversaries. We met on our 17th anniversary."
Narsha shared her perspective, emphasizing the delicate balance in maintaining group dynamics. She stated, "We have a close enough relationship that is good but it's business. This is said like a joke but I'd strongly advise those promoting as a group to maintain this type of relationship." She further advised artists in groups to ensure a healthy equilibrium between personal closeness and professional distance among members.
Honestly, this is good advice no matter what industry you're in
