Baro and Ha Seung Ri have been confirmed for the lead roles in MBC Dramanet's 'Romance Villain'.

On May 10 KST, MBC Dramanet confirmed the organization of the new original drama 'Romance Villain' and revealed the casting of Baro and Ha Seung Ri as the main cast. 'Romance Villain' is a work about youth romance of campus villains, and depicts the realistic romance growth period of the villains learning about love on a campus full of romance.

According to the production team, Cha Baro will take on the role of Kang Hee Je. Kang Hee Je is described as a self-proclaimed cool man who wants to appear cool to others, but in reality he is smaller than marine microplankton. He struggles to forgive his college senior girlfriend Yujin's 'atrocities', but turns into a monster of obsession.

Ha Seung Ri plays the role of Ban Yu Jin. Ban Yu Jin is described as the best 'sexy brain' on campus, with a haughty appearance, a broken personality, and clear work ethic. Worried that she may be failing in her love life, she starts dating Hee Je, her younger junior, who boldly pushes her forward. 

'Romance Villain' is expected to draw strong interest in 2023 by drawing real stories of romance villains that exist around us, going beyond the obvious and banal romance dramas.

'Romance Villain' will be aired on MBC DramaNet in June.
