ASTRO's Jinjin has made his first official public appearance since Moonbin's passing.
On May 17, various media reports covered the press call for the musical version of 'Dream High,' starring actor Eum Moon Seok, Winner's Lee Seung Hoon, and SF9's Yoo Taeyang as the role of Song Sam Dong, played by Kim Soo Hyun in the drama.
Jinjin, who plays the role of Jason, originally played by 2PM's Wooyoung in the drama, shared with the press that he "wondered if [he] has ever lived so diligently since the trainee days." As it was his first attempt at a musical, he "was very concerned about the experience," especially since he was a "rapper position."
Although any reference to the late Moonbin was not mentioned during the press call, media outlets reported that Jinjin smiled in front of the audience and remarked that he was "grateful for meeting such a great work and that it was a good idea to challenge himself." The reports are also connecting his words back to his heartfelt letter dedicated to Moonbin, which included his experience and positive outlook on the musical.
He also said he sincerely followed a memorable line from his role in the musical, which was "if there is a wall blocking you right now, push it to the ground and it becomes a road."
Bless you JinJin.
It’s almost been a month since Moonbins passing and I’m still feeling huge waves of emotion when I think about him and I’m a nobody who watched from afar. I can only imagine how hard it must be for all of those who knew him on a personal level.
