Girl group aespa has officially risen to the very top of the list of highest K-Pop girl group album first-week sales of all time.
As of May 12 KST, aespa's 3rd mini album 'My World' has recorded a total of 1,564,704 copies in sales, on its 5th day of release. The group has now surpassed the first-week album sales record previously held by BLACKPINK's 'BORN PINK' at approximately 1,542,900 copies.
There are still 2 more days left until the full count of aespa's first-week sales record with 'My World'.
Meanwhile, aespa recently kicked off comeback promotions for their title track "Spicy" beginning with a performance on the May 11 broadcast of Mnet's 'M! Countdown'.
It funny reading sour comment of pp saying that a certain group only have such high sales due to people making bulks and multiple purchase. yes I think the fandom did that but aespa is not the only group whom fans are doing it. does sales really matter or should using sales figures to gauge a group popularities really accurate nowadays? To me is a straight no it just show their fans commitments
