YG Entertainment denied that BLACKPINK's Rose and Kang Dong Won are dating.

On April 17, YG Entertainment released an updated official statement stating that the two celebrities are not dating. The label said, "Previously, we stated that it was difficult to confirm because it is the private matter of the artists. However, we are releasing a statement once more due to indiscriminate speculation."

YG Entertainment continued, "We would like to reveal that the reports of the dating rumors released today are not true. We would be grateful if everyone could help prevent the spread of false information."

Earlier, Rose and Kang Dong Won were recently embroiled in dating rumors on various online communities overseas. This latest rumor stemmed from the two celebrities being spotted participating in the same events, wearing similar items of clothing, and more. 

In response, YG Entertainment released a statement stating that the label is unable to confirm since this is a private matter of their artists. This led to more speculation, and many netizens believed that the dating rumors were true due to the label's last statement. Therefore, YG Entertainment has updated its statement denying the two are dating.

Meanwhile, Kang Dong Won was a part of the YG Entertainment family, until his contract expired just last December. Rose is currently actively performing during their world tour and at music festivals overseas.
