BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, has always gone against the norm by being one of the few idols who draws clear boundaries between fans and calls things out as he sees them.
On April 19th, Taehyung did a surprise live broadcast while he was heading home. He started the live on Instagram but quickly switched to Weverse when he faced difficulties figuring out some of the features.
After a few minutes, Taehyung voiced his disappointment and frustration with the repetitive comments that constantly flood the comment section whenever he goes live on Weverse.
Taehyung had been receiving the same overused jokes, marriage proposals, and redundant questions for years, and he finally reached his limit.
"Everyone, you're too predictable. It's been 10 years since we've debuted and things haven't changed. I think you have to upgrade your questions."
Taehyung explained that as BTS matures, they need to be asked more insightful and "upgraded" questions by their fans. He also said that he would gladly read more comments if they were entertaining.
Taehyung is seeking more meaningful interactions with his fans, and he hopes to receive unique and entertaining questions that can lead to those fun conversations.
The majority of ARMYs were equally frustrated with the repetitive comments that had been plaguing the chat for years, and they were glad that Taehyung spoke out about the issue.
Fans rose to the challenge and motivated each other to brainstorm creative and unique questions that would pique Taehyung's interest during his next live session.
Glad he said this. The people on Weverse who keep spamming nonsense should stop. It's annoying for everyone.

Spamming comments in any chat is so obnoxious, regardless of what kind of stream you’re watching. Many times the person streaming has already answered the question, they can’t just keep answering it over and over again. Sorry if you missed it or came in late, watch it on the replay or find a summary of the stream from one of the thousands of people who talk about or re-upload it, because it will be there.
