Super Junior member Eunhyuk made a meaningful donation for his birthday.
On April 4 KST, Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a representative organization for child advocacy, announced that the singer had donated 40,400,000 won ($30730.61 USD) for support.
The donation delivered by Eunhyuk is the amount raised by adding the proceeds from Eunhyuk's fan meeting '4 Now, Party 4 the People Eunhyuk Loves' held on March 30 KST and Eunhyuk's added personal expenses. The donation will be used to support children and adolescents who play a role in taking care of sick family members at an age when they need to be taken care of.
Eunhyuk said, "Since I was a child, seeing my father working at a child welfare center, I wanted to become a person who can help children when I grow up."
Choi Woon Jeong, head of the Seoul 2 Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, said, “I am grateful to Eunhyuk for taking an interest in children and adolescents caring for families, a blind spot in child welfare, and spreading good influence. We will work hard on advocacy activities to create a legal basis so that detailed support policies can be created.”
Shows how awesome he is.
