SEVENTEEN continue to impress with the performance of their upcoming 10th mini album before the album has even been released.
Earlier on, on April 13, SEVENTEEN's upcoming 10th mini album 'FML' has surpassed 4 million pre-orders, easily surpassing the first-week album sales record held by the group with their 4th full album 'Face The Sun', at 2,067,769 copies.
Meanwhile, as of April 23, D-1 to the album's release, 'FML' has set a new record past their personal record–it is now the most pre-ordered K-pop album of all time, surpassing BTS's 'Map of the Soul: 7', which received 4.02 million pre-orders when it was released back in 2020. With a pre-order volume of 4.64 million, over half a million above the previous record held by BTS, SEVENTEEN scores a head start even before their comeback.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN's 10th mini album 'FML' will be featuring their first ever double title track, "F*ck My Life" and "Super," raising anticipation. The album "FML" will be released on April 24m 6 p.m. KST. Are you looking forward to it?
Congratulations! Carats have been doing great with album sales lately; I noticed that even older Seventeen albums keep popping up on those monthly physical album charts. I'm not in this fandom, but I'm happy for their success!
It's always especially nice to see for groups that have been around long enough to re-sign contracts, too. As much as it's fun to watch new acts do well, I feel more touched by the successes of groups that have put in the work and dedication over the course of years.
