The first trial of nine people involved in the military evasion case, including Ravi and Nafla, was held in the 7th Criminal Division of the Seoul Southern District Court on April 11. On this day, the prosecution asked that Ravi and Nafla be sentenced to two years in prison and two years and six months in jail, respectively.
Since the controversy arose after Ravi was accused of evading military service by receiving a false diagnosis of epilepsy through collusion with a broker and submitting a false diagnosis to the Military Manpower Administration, some OTT services are making moves to delete the rapper's presence from their respective platforms.
On April 13, Korean netizens discovered that OTT platforms, including Wavve, have removed the episodes of '2 Days & 1 Night' featuring Ravi.
It appears that the streaming platform is taking action to remove the episodes featuring Ravi from its library, as there is a strong likelihood that the rapper will be convicted and given a criminal record.
Now many fans and netizens are upset as they are no longer able to rewatch the entertainment program. This is the second season of '2 Days & 1 Night' that was removed from OTT platforms following Season 3, which was removed due to Jung Joon Young's conviction.
Korean netizens commented, "Dang this is the second season of '2 Days & 1 Night' that's brought down," "This is such a hassle, I need to download all the episodes of the other shows that Ravi is in," "I'm so upset that I can't see Kim Joo Hyuk because of Jung Joon Young, now another season is being taken down," "Season 3 was taken down but now season 4," "omg, he's ruining everything," and "I wish they just edit him out or blur him instead of removing the whole episode."
We know the drill. I think everybody expected it to happen. It's how South Korea roll.
