Singer Lee Mi Joo expressed her feelings about making her solo debut after 9 years.

On April 26 KST, lifestyle magazine 'Singles' released a pictorial with Lee Mi Joo ahead of her first solo debut.

Mi Joo has continued her entertainment career after Lovelyz disbanded and is about to make her first solo debut. She introduced herself and her first solo album, saying, "It's a solo album that's fully shows off who I am as Lee Mi Joo. It's an album in which I'm doing everything I've been greedy to try to see my dreams unfold."

Then, Mijoo revealed that she sometimes searches and revisits past Lovelyz stages because she misses the members while doing individual activities after working as a team for so long. "I get strength from the fans who have been unwaveringly supportive since those times, so I want to show even better sides to myself for the sake of those fans and for the [Lovelyz] members,” she promised.

She also said of her childhood, that she "grew up as a playful, tomboyish girl who was very much loved by my parents." She also revealed that the dream that she wishes to achieve in the second act of her life is "I want to be happy."

Meanwhile, Mijoo will release her solo album on May 17 KST.
