Turns out Lee Hyori is indeed back on Instagram.
Previously, an Instagram account, 'lee_hyolee,' was created on April 13th. It garnered attention based on speculation that the veteran singer had re-created an account to connect with her fans. Back in September 2020, Lee Hyori deleted her Instagram account and has been off social media since then.
On April 15th, the new post confirmed the said account indeed belonged to Lee Hyori after sharing unseen pictures of her.
It seems Lee Hyori created the account to promote her upcoming performance with 'The Dancing Wanderers,' a project group consisting of some of the best female artists in Korea. The group has already begun performing at various music events, including the Jinhae Gunhangje Military Music Festival on April 2nd.
Meanwhile, 'The Dancing Wanderers' is a TV program scheduled to air in May, where the artists will travel across the country to meet fans face-to-face. It has been confirmed that Kim Wan Seon, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, BoA, and Hwa Sa have joined the team of performers.
It's almost the 25th anniversary of Fin.K.L (debut May 1998).
