Rapper Ravi could be facing a sentence of about two years in prison for violating the Military Service Act. 

The first trial of nine people involved in the military evasion case, including Ravi and Nafla, was held in the 7th Criminal Division of the Seoul Southern District Court on April 11. On this day, the prosecution asked that Ravi and Nafla be sentenced to two years in prison and two years and six months in jail, respectively.

The two rappers are facing charges of evading military service by receiving a false diagnosis of epilepsy through collusion with a broker and submitting a false diagnosis to the Military Manpower Administration.

The latest military service evasion controversy has brought shock to Korean netizens, and many have become deeply disappointed in Ravi.
