On April 12, KST, an anonymous Twitter user raised allegations that TXT member Taehyun was spotted drinking and dancing at a club sometime in February 2023.

The online user who raised the allegations included various photos of the idol in the club lit with red lights and shared, "Taehyun haha. Did you have a good time at the club with all the girls? You went straight to the club after the fan sign... You were so tired the next morning you didn't even blink at the fans at the airport."

Following the allegations, many TXT fans came to defend the idol, but some fans are aggravating the situation by blaming others.

It has been two days since the controversy broke out, and some TXT fans are claiming that the person in the nightclub photos is not Taehyun but someone else.

These fans are taking to Weverse and other online social platforms to post photos of other male celebrities, saying these other male celebrities are the ones in the photo. Some even said that it is actually Q from The Boyz.

Other fans stated that the person in the photo is actually DJ Kim In Ho. However, the DJ personally denied that he was the person in the photo after fans continued to spread the rumor that it was him.

Korean netizens believe that these fans are making the situation worse, with fans continuing to deny it was Taehyun in the photo and blaming innocent people.

Korean netizens commented, "This is so forced. It's so obvious it's T=Kang Taehyun in the photos," "they are making the situation worse," "I'm also a MOA and the situation is already s*****y but these fans are making it worse," "How do these fans not even recognize their own idol's face?"
