Earlier on April 20 KST, one exclusive media outlet reported that the members of VICTON will so go their separate ways after the expiration of their contracts with IST Entertainment. 

VICTON originally debuted as a 7-member group in November of 2016 with the release of their 1st mini album, 'Voice To New World'. In October of 2022, member Heochan announced his departure from the team after being caught driving under the influence. 

Now, it seems that the 6 current members of VICTON including Seungwoo, Seungsik, Sejun, Hanse, Byungchan, and Subin will soon face contract expiration/renewals season. The earlier report claimed that while some of the members have decided not to renew their contracts with IST Entertainment, the members have strong wishes to continue their team promotions as VICTON, even under separate labels.

In response to the above, IST Entertainment briefly commented, "We will release a statement on the exclusive contracts of the members once we have confirmed all details."
