Actor Hwang In Yeob and singer/actoress Jung Chae Yeon are in talks to join the new drama 'Preassembled Family' (working title) in the leading roles.

'Preassembled Family' is based on a popular Chinese drama 'Go Ahead' about three men who spend their teenage years together, relying on each other while carrying the scars they received from their parents. It is a work that tells the story of familial love, romantic love, and friendship among those who have been reunited after 10 years.

The original drama 'Go Ahead' gained immense popularity when it was aired in China in 2020. Since then, it has attracted the attention of many viewers and built a wide fan base, and has been aired in Korea as well. The potential cast for the Korean remake is already starting to look promising with the fresh combination of Hwang In Yeob and Jung Chae Yeon.

Meanwhile, Hwang In Yeob made his debut in 2018 and has met the public through JTBC's '18 Again', tvN's 'True Beauty', and SBS's 'Why Her'. Jung Chae Yeon debuted as a member of DIA in 2015 with the release of their first full-length album 'Do It Amazing'. She later built her acting career through roles in 'Drinking Solo', 'My First First Love', 'Homemade Love Story', and 'The Golden Spoon'.
