On Thursday, April 27, Hong Kong actress Carol Cheng, also known by her nickname Do Do, made a surprise appearance on MBC FM4U's radio show "Song of Hope" hosted by DJ Kim Shin Young.
DJ Kim Shin Young introduced Carol Cheng as a "legend of Hong Kong cinema and a pillar of the Hong Kong entertainment industry," and conducted an interview with the help of an interpreter.
Carol Cheng is a legendary icon of Hong Kong cinema who has become one of the wealthiest actresses in Hong Kong. She is celebrated for her role in launching the careers of previously unknown actors such as Jackie Chan, Jackie Cheung, and Andy Lau. Cheng has received countless acting and hosting awards across various film and television genres, solidifying her status as a revered figure in Hong Kong's cinematic history.
During the radio show, Kim Shin-young introduced a listener's question asking, "I heard that Carol Cheng is a fan of BTS. Who is her favorite member?" to which she promptly replied, "It's V."
Carol expressed her admiration for the artist, stating, "I hope to see many more sides V and many activities from him. Since he is a person with many talents, I hope I can see him not only in music but also in other areas such as acting!"
For the past few years, Carol Cheng has been an avid supporter of Taehyung, attending many BTS concerts and proudly displaying merchandise that features his image and "Tata," his BT21 character.
Most fans share her enthusiasm and eagerly anticipate Taehyung's return to acting in the not-too-distant future.
I guess it doesn't really matter what type of drama or movie it is...what matters is that Taehyung is in it. I, too, am excited for his next acting project. Let him be the male lead and may it be longer than 16 episodes, please.
