TV personality Ham So Won (46) has opened up about divorcing her husband, Jin Hua (29).

On April 3, Ham So Won posted a video on her YouTube channel stating that her husband and in-laws have grown tired due to the attacks of malicious commenters. She then revealed that she has requested a divorce from her husband.

She explained, "I begged to my husband and in-laws and I thought everything was going to be fine after departing from the show 'Taste of Wife,' but the reality is the situation did not improve. Haters started sending strange messages. These messages were not only directed at me but also at my parents-in-law and sister-in-law. My parents-in-law are most distressed that the honor of their precious son is being damaged."

She continued, "Anyone can write on Chinese online communities and Weibo. And these articles written on unconfirmed sites have been reported as if they were true. So I have no choice but to ask to divorce my husband. I requested (a divorce) in tears because I felt like I hurt my husband and my family-in-law."

Ham So Won also explained, "I think getting divorced from my husband so that he can meet a good person similar to him in age is my last courtesy in return for the love my husband has given me. I want to get divorced, give up on being a celebrity, and live as an ordinary person."

The TV personality also warned that she would take legal action against anyone spreading false information about her in-laws and husband.
