BLACKPINK member Jisoo proved her global popularity as her first album achieves a huge milestone!
On March 31 KST, Jisoo made her long-awaited solo debut with 'ME,' featuring the tracks "FLOWER" and "All Eyes On Me." On the same day, the physical album was released, and according to the Hanteo chart, it accumulated 876,249 copies sold on the first day of its release, setting a new impressive record among Korean female solo acts.
With this, Jisoo has become the first-ever female soloist to have an album surpassing 500,000 sales just on the first day of release in Hanteo history; 'ME' now holds the highest first-day sales of any album by a K-Pop female solo artist. The record was previously held by her bandmate Lisa's 'LALISA,' which had around 330,000 first-day sales.
Congratulations to Jisoo!
