Recently, an online community post is garnering much attention.
The online community post included a video of the showcase for the female trainees at SM Entertainment. Thanks to their track record of producing some of the biggest K-pop groups in the industry, SM Entertainment trainees are always in the spotlight and generate significant buzz whenever a new group is announced.
Just last year, there were photos of the silhouette of the girls who were speculated to become the next SM Entertainment girl group. This led to many believing that SM will launch a new female idol group soon.
Then on March 15, a photo showing a group of girls with name tags was revealed.
Some of the trainees' names can be seen in the photo, and the names that can be made out are Nahyun, Yuna/Yuni, and Nayeon. The other girls' names are still under the veil.
With the new photo that was unveiled, many SM fans are speculating that the girls will debut soon - either later this year or earlier next year.
Netizens commented, "They are all so tall," "Is Na Ha Eun not there?" "They are so lanky and tall." and "They're so tall."
strange following SM's pattern it weird that they are debuting another GG not even 2.5 years after aespa debuted. Also aespa has about 10-12 songs and half of them are remakes of 1st gen songs, I wonder how the new gg will be treated, musically wise
