NewJeans have been selected as the new global ambassadors for denim brand 'Levi's'.
NewJeans expressed, "We're honored and thrilled to be with the brand line 'Levi's', a global brand that is representative of the world's most iconic jeans."
A representative of 'Levi's' brand stated, "As we celebrate the 150th debut anniversary of '501', we prepared for our collaboration with NewJeans, to appeal our brand to the Gen Z generation. With their free-spirited and hip image, as well as bright energy, NewJeans as the brand ambassadors makes us look forward to their various performances and exciting projects with us."
Meanwhile, 'Levi's' is preparing for a live performance in Seoul with NewJeans to celebrate '501 Day', which marks the day when 'Levi's' rivet jeans were first patented on May 20, 1873.
It was only a matter of time before a jeans company hired the group as their ambassadors. It's not like the companies could let the opportunity go to waste. Seems Levi's was the quickest and/or offered ADOR the most money.
