A 'My Teenage Boy' contestant has left the program due to a recent controversy.
On March 6 KST, it was reported that Hinata, a Japanese contestant specializing in dance, exited the survival program due to allegations made about his inappropriate behavior during his time as a TikTok content creator.
Hinata recently faced an accusation that when he was in his second year of high school, he had behaved inappropriately with a third-year middle school girl. The netizen making the accusation, who is believed to be Japanese as well, said that he also showed impolite behavior toward his fans, adding, "It is dangerous for Hinata to debut. I don't recommend supporting him."
The authenticity of the claim was not confirmed until Hinata himself took to social media and admitted that some of the allegations were true, particularly his inappropriate relationship with a middle school student. As a result, Hinata has exited 'My Teenage Boy' after two episodes and MBC plans to edit out as much of his screen time as possible.
Meanwhile, 'My Teenage Boy' will begin to air on March 23.

If you want to enter Korean entertainment, you better have lived a clean life since young, or else, don't even think about it.
