AOMG has confirmed Ugly Duck is the rapper who was charged with assault.
As previously reported, a rapper from a top hip hop label was accused of assaulting a man several times at a club early on March 10 KST. His label AOMG responded to reports, stating rapper 'A' is indeed Ugly Duck. The label stated, "It's true there was a dispute because the person who claims to be the victim had a quarrel with other people, and he was in the process of stopping it."
AOMG added, "There is a difference from the reported facts, and this will be explained after the investigation."
In related news, 'A', who's active as both a rapper and DJ, was previously sent to prosecution for assaulting a bar employee in Seoul in 2018.

The way Korea works, is there is no self defence or justified reason for any level of violence... if someone attacks you and you even hit them once in retaliation, it results in a double assault charge. Any type of physically attack is deemed assault if a person wants to prosecute, even as minor as grabbing someone by the clothing collar violently.
