It's not just the hair, makeup, and stage outfits that make a K-Pop group stand out, but it's also the dance moves that accompany each song! Sometimes, the idols dance so well that K-Pop choreography looks effortless but try it yourself, and you'll soon find yourself breaking out a sweat! With that, here are eight iconic Korean choreographers who crafted some of K-pop's most iconic dance moves.
1. Lia Kim: Probably one of the best well-known choreographers, Lia Kim is the co-founder and chief choreographer of One Million Dance Studio and has created dances for Girl's Generation, Sunmi, MAMAMOO, and more!
2. Woo Tae: A great dancer himself who has much versatility in the genres of dances he performs, Woo Tae is known to have choreographed for many soloists, including BoA and Jay Park, and on top of that, EXO's Kai and SHINee's Taemin!
3. Gabee: Leader of the dance crew LaChica, Gabee is known to have her own flare to her dances that make her choreography so addicting to perform and watch! Working with artists such as TWICE, Chung Ha, BoA and aespa!
4. Mina Myoung: Maybe you've been able to see her familiar face in Jay Park's music video for 'All I wanna Do' featuring the One Million Dance studio crew, but Mina Myoung has choreographed for TWICE, Jay Park and Jessi too!
5. Son Sung Deuk: Of course can't forget the choreographer for one of the biggest bands in the world; having worked with BTS since their debut until now, Son Sun Deuk has created the moves for many of BTS' iconic songs!
6. May J Lee: Having trained popular artists such as Girls' Generation, 2NE1, and Jay Park, May J Lee is also a very well-known name within the world of K-Pop for her unique style of street dancing!
7. iLL: Part of the PREPIX dance crew, iLL is known to be NCT's choreographer!
8. Kasper: Choreographer for EXO, Kapser, also known as Kim Tae Woo, is known for being the mastermind behind "Call Me Baby," and "Ko Ko Bo." He has also worked with many SM Entertainment artists, including Super Junior's Eunhyuk and SHINee's Taemin.
