Stray Kids successfully completed their sold-out dome performances and continue their global rise.
On February 28 KST, JYP Entertainment stated, "Stray Kids held an encore performance of 'Stray Kids 2nd World Tour "MANIAC"' at Kyocera Dome Osaka on February 25-26. The concert was sold out, raising expectations for their first dome concert to the highest level."
JYP Entertainment added, "At the vast dome concert hall filled with spectators, fervent cheers resonated as Stray Kids appeared, increasing the fans' excitement. They boasted their status as a 'performance powerhouse' presenting representative songs that reached hundreds of millions of views on YouTube starting with "MANIAC", "God's Menu", and "Thunderous". Their first full-length Japanese album 'THE SOUND', which was officially released on February 22 and topped the Oricon Daily Album rankings. The title song from the album of the same name was also preformed and they presented a high-quality performance joined by a live band."
JYPE continued, “In addition, the members shed emotional tears at the surprise video event prepared by the fans. I.N. stated 'I hope to be able to stand on stage forever,' as Han stated 'it's fascinating that I'm standing on a stage I've dreamed of since I was young.'"
Stray Kids held a total of 4 Japanese encore performances from February 11-12 at the Saitama Super Arena in addition to the February 25-26 Kyocera Dome Osaka performances. Stray Kids performed for about 130,000 people in person, and recorded an impressive attendance of about 250,000 people total from both on and offline audiences.
Stray Kids will hold additional encore performances at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, California in the USA on March 31 and April 2.
