Seventeen's BSS (BooSeokSoon) landed atop the Billboard Japan chart!
On Billboard Japan's 'Hot 100's latest update for this week's rankings (dated February 15), the unit's recent title track "Fighting" (feat. Lee Young Ji) debuted straight at No. 1 on the chart, becoming BSS's first-ever No. 1 hit.
With this, "Fighting" has become the first and only Korean song to debut at No. 1 on the 'Hot 100' chart with no accompanying Japanese version of the song, and the second song by a K-Pop group in history to do so, after BTS's "Yet To Come."
In addition, BSS appeared on Billboard Japan's 'Top Singles Sales' and 'Top Streaming Songs' charts at No. 3 and No. 13, respectively, with the album 'SECOND WIND' and the title track "Fighting."
Congratulations to BSS!
Seventeen are huge in Japan so it kinda doesn't surprise me but knowing it's just a unit song??? Impressive.
