According to media outlet reports on January 19, SF9's Rowoon has selected a historical rom-com as his next small-screen project. 

'Send Me Off To You' (working title) is the latest project by scriptwriter Ha Soo Jin of 'Sell Your Haunted House'. The story follows a young widow and a young widower, tasked with the seemingly impossible mission of finding suitable marriage partners for four maidens past their prime. 

Rowoon will take on the role of the male lead Shim Jung Woo, a brilliant and handsome young man who just can't help but captivate all the young women of Joseon with his good looks. One day, the royal princess picks him out to be her husband. However, during the wedding ceremony, the princess tragically passes away! Bearing the title of the king's widowed son-in-law, Shim Jung Woo's life comes to a standstill. Due to his status, he is unable to rise in the ranks of Joseon's elite class. Then, one day, the King orders him to become a marriage broker.

With this, Rowoon will be starring in his first historical drama since his hit series 'The King's Affection'. Meanwhile, the idol/actor is currently busy filming for  another drama 'This Relationship Is Force Majeure', where he'll be working alongside Jo Bo Ah, Ha Joon, and more.
