LE SSERAFIM's Japanese debut is a hit on Oricon!
The girl group took the #1 spot on the weekly single chart as of February 6 (counting period: January 23 - 29) on Oricon with their Japanese debut single, the Japanese language version of "FEARLESS." It is the first time in 5 years and 3 months that a non-Japanese female act topped the chart with their debut release.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM's debut single sold a total of 222,000 copies in the first week of release. With this, the group set the record for the most copies of a Japanese debut album sold in its first week by a K-pop girl group. LE SSERAFIM is only one of three girl groups that surpassed 200,000 copies in first-week sales of their Japanese debut album.
