Kwanghee recently opened up about his special friendship with G-Dragon.

In the new episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' that aired on January 25, Kwanghee, tv host Whang Soo Kyeong, model Joo Woo Jae, and GOT7's BamBam appeared as special guests.

On this day, Kwanghee talked about how he became friends with G-Dragon through MBC's 'Infinite Challenge' but shared how he lost contact with G-Dragon for about two years. Kwanghee continued to share how he was able to reconnect with G-Dragon and expressed how thankful he was for him.

Kwanghee explained, "Last year, my manager suddenly told me to check social media on my birthday and G-Dragon posted a congratulation message for me. I was so touched."

In the Instagram story post that G-Dragon uploaded, G-Dragon wrote, "Is this for real? Happy Birthday my friend Kwanghee." Kwanghee shared, "I didn't contact him before but he was so happy when I called him and we said we should keep connected."

Kwanghee continued to share, "A few days later, he called me in the middle of the night but I wasn't able to pick up because I was sleeping, but I couldn't call him back the next day because I was worried I would call him when he's busy. I thought I would bother him when he was writing a song. What do I do when he can't write songs because he's thinking of me?" and made everyone laugh.

Joo Woo Jae added and shared his concern saying, "What if G-Dragon has the same personality and worry as Kwanghee but he mustered up the courage to call you?" In response, Kwanghee shared, "what if we both want to meet each other but we weren't able to? I was worried he would be bothered or feel annoyed."

Still, Kwanghee expressed his friendship through social media by sharing an Instagram story thanking G-Dragon for the birthday wishes.
