Former and current weathercasters refuted the depiction of their job in 'The Glory.'
On January 8th, MBC's weathercaster Kim Ga Young updated her Instagram with a caption refuting the depiction of her job in the Netflix hit series 'The Glory.'
In the caption, she wrote, "Checking facts in 'The Glory' as an avid viewer! First, being a weathercaster is a job that requires hard work, not a fancy job that is easy. We take our job seriously, feeling responsible for both people's everyday life and safety. Second, no one writes your script for you. From CG commissions to researching and writing scripts, it solely falls under the caster's responsibility. Sometimes even pictures, music, clothes, and props too!"
Under her post, former weathercaster Ahn Hye Kyung commented, "👏👏👏👏👏Indeed," showing support.

What they’re saying about their job doesn’t contradict the drama’s depiction though. The reason why Yeonjin is hated by her coworkers is because everyone else works hard to write their own scripts and do their jobs respectably except for Yeonjin. She’s just an entitled nepo baby who uses her position of wealth and power to do whatever she wants which includes paying someone else to do the menial parts of her job for her
