According to C9 Entertainment on December 20, singer Younha has broken records by topping Melon's 'Top 100' chart for 43 consecutive days with her song "Event Horizon."

"Event Horizon," the title song of Younha's 6th repackage album released in March of this year, re-entered the 'Top 100' at number 98 in October. Since then, "Event Horizon", which has repeatedly risen in the rankings, reached the top of the chart on the 6th of last month.

"Event Horizon" became the first song to hold the top spot on the chart for a cumulative 1,000 hours since the Melon chart was reorganized in August of last year. 

Additionally, the song showed off its all-kill potential by topping various music charts, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, Vibe, FLO, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. 

Meanwhile, NewJeans' latest song "Ditto" has since taken over the #1 spot on Melon's 'Top 100' as of 5 PM on December 21.
