Veteran actress and 'Minari' star Youn Yeo Jung leaves Hook Entertainment after 5+ years

Actress Youn Yeo Jung has left Hook Entertainment.

The agency released an official statement on December 5 KST announcing her exit, saying, "We are informing you that our contract with actress Youn Yeo Jung, who we have been with since March 2017, has been terminated. We will be rooting for her to always be healthy and see her in good works."

During the five years she spent with Hook Entertainment, the actress has starred in a number of popular films, including 'The Bacchus Lady,' 'Canola,' 'Lucky Chan Sil,' and the critically acclaimed 'Minari.' 

Meanwhile, earlier this week, entertainer Lee Seung Gi reportedly forwarded a notice to Hook Entertainment, asserting his intention to terminate his exclusive contract after his legal team obtained evidence to sue Hook Entertainment for violation of management duties, including not paying the artist some music distribution earnings.
