Seventeen's The8 will be absent from the group's 'Be the Sun' world tour concert in Jakarta.
On December 27, Seventeen's label Pledis Entertainment stated, "We'd like to inform you Seventeen member The8 will not be able to participate in the 'Seventeen World Tour [Be the Sun] - Jakarta' concert. The8 visited the hospital as he was experiencing flu symptoms, received treatment, and is currently resting according to the medical staff's advice."
The label continued, "Though the artist himself expressed a strong wish to participate in the event, placing the medical staff's advice and our artist's health is a top priority. It's been decided he won't be attending the Jakarta concert on Wednesday, December 28 (Indonesia time)."
