With more and more new idol groups and idol artists making their debut, there are always new groups performing at the year-end shows.
This is more so since it is already in the 4th generation of K-pop idols. That means, there will be more 4th-generation idols will be performing at these year-end shows. This was always the case as newer artists are given the opportunity to perform on stage with the change in generations.
Recently, one K-pop fan started a discussion in a popular Korean online community and explained how much they miss watching the 3rd-generation idol artists performing at the year-end shows.
The netizen explained, "My world is falling apart...(Of course, I still love 4th-generation idols too," and expressed how much they miss the third-generation.
Other K-pop fans joined the conversation and commented, "Aren't they on tours?" "They're all busy or enlisting in the army," "No...." "My favorite group is on tour," "There are some shows where they appear," "I just miss them," "there are a lot of idols who schedule tours at the year-end, and also, year-end performances are more for new groups, no?" "I'm disappointed too but they do schedule a lot of tours at the year-end," and "Also, the third-generation male groups are in their military hiatus."
They seemed to be much more comfortable in award shows that 4th gen, it looked like thwy actually enjoyed their time there. Also the performance were much better imo
