JYP Entertainment criticized for their vague announcement of Jinni's departure from NMIXX, which has led to the proliferation of malicious rumors

AKP STAFF

There have been concerns about malicious rumors spreading after the sudden departure of member Jinni from NMIXX

It has been approximately one week since JYP Entertainment announced that member Jinni left NMIXX for personal reasons. Since then, online communities and social media have been filled with malicious rumors about Jinni.

Fans and netizens are in agreement that those responsible for malicious comments and the dissemination of false information should be met with severe consequences; however, some voices suggest JYP Entertainment should be held accountable for their lack of action and for allowing the rumors to spread.

As soon as the news of Jinni's departure was announced, JYP Entertainment swiftly took action to erase all evidence of the ex-member from the group's social media profiles. The agency removed Jinni's photos, and it was even found that Jinni's video from the 2022 MAMA collab performance was also erased.

Furthermore, JYP Entertainment only gave a cryptic explanation for Jinni's departure, leaving the public to speculate the reasons behind her exit from the group.

Despite JYP claiming that Jinni left the group and the company of her own volition, fans are unconvinced due to Jinni's previous messages to fans that anticipated NMIXX's future comebacks and her upcoming activities with the group.

With the news of Jinni's departure from the group, JYP Entertainment's past announcements of members leaving the group have resurfaced, sparking further criticism of the agency.

Netizens commented, "JYPE is so strange," "They always release vague announcements when it comes to members leaving the group," "This is a crazy company," "The rumors are really bad; they should really do something about it," "They keep the school bully around, but they take out other members without any clear explanations," "I really feel like its because of religion, lol," "JYP Entertainment is a weird company for sure," and "The company hasn't changed."

The hell? JYPE never reveals exact reason to let go of their artist since long ago. They did it for Somi, Junhyeok, and Woojin, and people just make a fuss now? If Jinni was really kicked out unfairly, her cousin wouldn't have posted so peacefully and went on rage instead like Kim Garam's friends towards Hybe. And an agency wouldn't let go of their artist for no reason, especially after they spent so much money for their training without making it a debt. It's not that I'm defending JYPE, it's just that this is getting ridiculous. If Jinni really wants the reason to be revealed, she might reveal it herself someday. Like, do you prefer they did it BBC way?
