ITZY took the top spot on the Circle Weekly Album Chart.
Circle Album Chart (formerly Gaon Chart) released the rankings for the week of December 8 (Week 49) and for the month of November, and ITZY's sixth mini-album 'Cheshire,' which was released on the 30th, debuted straight at No. 1 on the chart, with 779,525 copies sold.
'Cheshire' has become the girl group's fifth No. 1 hit on the weekly chart. In addition, the album also took the top spot on Circle monthly album chart for November, marking ITZY's first-ever No. 1 hit; joining IVE and aespa as the only fourth-generation girl groups to achieve this feat. Further, 'Cheshire' landed atop iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in several countries.
Congratulations to ITZY!
ITZY is doing fine even without charting. I'll be honest, awards and charts are not even relevant anymore in the industry. Especially when it's rigged.
