Some are questioning Mnet about fairness after it was revealed that some trainees on ‘Boy Planet’ will not be getting the fancam benefit due to not being in the ‘Here I am’ performance.
On December 30, fancams for the ‘Boy Planet’ performance “Here I am” were released, and fans are angered that some trainees will not be in the running for the fancam benefit.
Trainees: Krystian, Wang Zihao, Xuan Hao, Jang Minseo, and Chen Liang couldn't participate in the benefit running due to health issues that didn’t allow them to participate in the ‘Here I am’ performance.
Fans are angered due to this issue, saying that this is unfair to those trainees who won’t be participating in the benefit while the rest of the trainees will get to have the upper hand in a future mission.
This issue has fans calling out Mnet for favoritism for taking trainees out of the running and blaming it on their health issues.

If the health issue is related to Covid-19, then it make sense. It wouldn't be fair for the other participants to postpone the taping just to wait for their recovery.
