BTS's Jungkook holds the record for the biggest streaming year ever by a K-Pop Soloist on Spotify
BTS's Jungkook has achieved yet another remarkable feat, setting a new record for the highest streaming year ever for a K-Pop and Korean Soloist on Spotify.
Jungkook is now the K-Pop Soloist with the biggest streaming year in Spotify history, breaking the previous record held by IU with 675M streams on Spotify. He's currently having more than 676M streams on his Spotify profile.
He did that without any album and just three songs under his profile (webtoon OST 'Stay Alive,' collaboration single with Charlie Puth 'Left And Right,' and the Official Soundtrack of FIFA World Cup 'Dreamers'), showing off his massive popularity and demand as a solo artist.
Most streamed K-Pop soloists on Spotify each year:
2019: CHUNG HA
2020: IU
2021: IU
2022: Jungkook (New record for Most Streamed K-Pop Soloist in any year).
