The actress's label confirmed on November 4 that the rumors of Kim Sae Ron working at a cafe as a part-timer were true. Management company Gold Medalist stated, "It's true Kim Sae Ron got a part-time job because her livelihood is in a difficult circumstance."

According to reports, Kim Sae Ron is said to have spent all her savings on damage compensations due to her DUI. 

During her DUI, Kim Sae Won damaged a transformer, causing electrical outages in 4 surrounding buildings, traffic lights, and streetlights. Nearby shopping malls and businesses were unable to operate normally. Kim Sae Ron met with 30 merchants who suffered damages to apologize and compensate for lost business.
