Prosecution pleads to 3 years in jail for Yang Hyun Suk

The prosecution pleaded to 3 years in jail for Yang Hyun Suk for trying to cover up B.I's drug allegations and threatening informant Han Seo Hee

On November 14th KST, the trial for Yang Hyun Suk and others was held at the 23rd Criminal Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court. According to the prosecution, the former YG Entertainment CEO threatened former trainee Han Seo Hee after she informed police about B.I's alleged drug use. The prosecution pleaded to 3 years in jail for Yang Hyun Suk and pleaded to 2 years in jail for Mr. Kim who was prosecuted along with Yang Hyun Suk during the final statement.

The prosecution continued, "It's evident he coerced the former trainee informant by saying it's nothing to take someone like you out. His criminal act was malicious and he does not seem to have any sense of remorse."

Meanwhile, Yang Hyun Suk allegedly told Han Seo Hee, "I can see everything you say in the investigation," "It would be easy to kill someone like you in the entertainment world," "If you take back your statement to the police, I'll give you a reward and appoint a lawyer for you," and more.

He refuted the claims on November 1st, stating, "Most of the stories are not true. I told her to be a good kid, and I meant that she shouldn't do drugs and told them out of worry. Half the time was spent comforting and listening." Yang Hyun Suk further stressed he never threatened her.

The court will announce the final sentencing on December 22nd.

Incorrect headline. Incorrectly worded.

The prosecution has REQUESTED 3 years. No one has "pleaded" to anything which would entail someone admitting guilt. The prosecution is having to save face after many dead ends on their part. Having followed this since Day 1, Han Seo Hee dealt the prosecution a fatal blow when she had a complete meltdown on the stand in which the judge had to reprimand her. After YG's legal team caught her in several lies using her own social media accounts. Her own friend testified her statements were false and she herself admitted she didn't even write the informant report against YG herself. She also failed to show up recently and she also couldn't make it another time due to failing a drug test while on probation.

This is actually looking pretty good for YG.
