allkpop spoke with MCND before their concert in Manila.

MCND is a five-member boy band created by TOP Media on February 27, 2020, consisting of Castle J, Bic, Huijun, Minjae, and Win. The band made their debut with the mini-album 'into the ICE AGE,' which features the title song "ICE AGE" and tells the story of MCND getting into the music industry.

The quintet began their world tour in Europe in April of this year, and they made six stops throughout America for their first-ever tour in North America in August. Finally, MCND announced in September that they will go on an Asia tour, with the first stop in Manila.

On November 18, MCND held a press conference to answer media questions following their fan signing session at the SM North Edsa Skydome. MCND's boys spoke with allkpop about their solo live performance in the Philippines.

When asked how the members were feeling and what thoughts were running through their heads as they prepared to embark on their Asia tour, Huijun stated that they had previously visited Europe and the United States, but this is their first time in Asia, so the experience is different.

Castle J said, "I want to go to Boracay with the members because it's pleasant there and we want to make memories there," when asked where in the Philippines the group would like to visit if they had the time and opportunity.

One of the items on the group's bucket list in Manila is "to win the hearts of all the Filipino GEMs."

When asked if they have any interests or activities outside of music, Castle J said that they are currently deciding their hobbies, adding, "Mine include bowling and swimming." Bic stated that he has lately started collecting stickers in bread (the bread with stickers that has become a trend in Korea).

"I'm trying to learn Judo," Win revealed. "I tried to learn it for a month, but then stopped owing to the hectic schedule," he noted, adding that he would like to try learning the exercise again if their schedule relaxed a little.

Huijun answered, "I have so much in my head, that's why I want to let them out so I read books." Minjae shared that his current interest is fashion.

"I want us to be one of the longest K-Pop groups in Korea with all the members," Castle J, the group's leader, stated when asked if a genie could fulfill any of their wishes.

Bic added that he wants their albums and songs to reach the top of the charts. Win then stated that health comes first and foremost: "We can have fame and money if there is time, but health is just different." While Huijun said he would wish for money.

"I hope we would constantly want to hear that we are first runner-up and be like, 'Oh! We are first runner-up again?'" Minjae said, adding that he wants their group's nickname to be "always No.1."

Finally, Castle J expressed their gratitude to their Filipino fans and fans worldwide, saying, "First and foremost, nice to meet you our Filipino GEMs. We have so many performances prepared for you, as well as new performances. We are so excited to perform all of them, and we hope you enjoy and attend our show tomorrow."
