On November 5th, Hong Suk Chun updated his Instagram with pictures of him and the German first lady Elke Budenbender. In his post, he wrote, "Last night, I was invited to meet the German president and first lady and was able to have a meaningful conversation. I was touched by how the first lady shared deep and meaningful thoughts on being different and marginalized. Thank you for sharing good energy. #GermanEmbassy"
Meanwhile, the German president Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the German first lady Elke Budenbender officially visited Korea from November 3rd to 5th.
