The year-end award shows are always thrilling events. Many artists gathered at this year's American Music Awards to show fans special performances and also take home awards for their hard work of the year.
One group that has consistently entertained and garnered love from fans all over the world is BTS. This year, the Korean boy band took home their fourth consecutive award for 'Favorite Pop Duo/Group' at the AMAs.
At the '2022 American Music Awards' held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, U.S. on November 20, BTS took home their fourth 'Favorite Pop Duo/Group' award and also their first 'Favorite K-pop Artist' award.
With this, BTS wrote new history as they have become the first artist to win the 'Favorite Pop Duo or Group' award for four years. In fact, this is their fifth year of being nominated for awards at the American Music Awards and their fourth year winning awards.
BTS received the 'Favorite Social Artist' award in 2018, and 'Favorite Pop Duo/Group,' 'Favorite Social Artist,' and 'Tour of the Year' in 2019.
In 2020, they won two awards in the category of 'Pop/Rock Genre Favorite Duo or Group' and 'Favorite Social Artist' and they were awarded the grand prize 'Artist of the Year ( Artist of the Year),' 'Favorite Pop Song,' and 'Favorite Pop Duo/Group' in 2021.
