BLACKPINK have racked up another massive achievement on YouTube!
On November 12 at around 5 AM KST, the girl group's music video for "Kill This Love" officially surpassed over 1.5 billion views on YouTube. Released on August 8, 2016 as one of the double title tracks included in their debut single album 'SQUARE ONE,' the video achieved the milestone six years and three months later.
With this, "BOOMBAYAH" marks the group's second music video to reach the 1.5 billion view count after "Kill This Love" and "DDU-DU DDU-DU."
BLACKPINK have become the first and only Korean act to have at least three music videos surpassing 1.5 billion views in YouTube's history.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
Their agency employees run up the view count.
The view count isn't real viewers watching the videos.
Just the employees paid to run up the view count numbers.
