Rain is accused of getting preferential treatment for filming in the Blue House.
On October 21st, KBS issued an exclusive report saying the Cultural Heritage Administration made a 'special rule' to give preferential treatment to Rain. On October 14th, Rain's documentary of performing in the monumental Blue House was released on Netflix.
According to the report, Cultural Heritage Administration rendered a rule banning commercial filming in the Blue House on June 7th and the rule became effective on June 12th. But Rain asked for the permit on June 10th, and he filmed his documentary on June 17th. This was possible because there was a special rule carving out exceptions saying the relevant rule will be applied to the applications filed after June 20th.
The report accused this was to specifically approve Rain's use of the Blue House on June 17th. Regarding the issue, the Cultural Heritage Administration explained "Rain's performance in the Blue House has been discussed since the Presidential Transition Committee. It was inevitable to carve out an exception to make the said filming legal."
Yeah people have it out for rain. Trust me nobody would have said anything if BTS filmed there actually they would claim the government is using them 🤣🤡
