Porsche Korea unveiled the "Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie Ruby Jane," designed specifically for the global K-pop girl group BLACKPINK member Jennie. The special car was revealed at the Sonderwunsch Haus event in Seoul on October 12.
This 'Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie' is the result of the Sonderwunsch program 'Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur,' and is said to be a vehicle that reflects Jennie's "dream, idea, and lifestyle."
Porsche Korea CEO Holger Gerrmann said, “It was a very special experience to work on Porsche Korea’s first Sonderwunsch project with a young female creative leader, Jennie of BLACKPINK, an influential global icon representing Generation Z in Korea. I was deeply impressed by her passion and ideas for her own Porsche."
He continued, "I hope that many people with various lifestyles can achieve their dream of the perfect sports car through the special personalization program provided by Porsche Korea."
Jennie's 'Dream Car' features the Meissenblue color of “Paint to Sample” and the “Jennie Ruby Jane” logo she designed herself. The new Sonderwunsch model in metallic black color will be exhibited at the ‘Sonderwunsch Haus’ until October 26 and can also be seen at the BLACKPINK World Tour concert starting in Seoul.
The key to the Taycan Cross Turismo exterior is its understated expression. The vehicle's exterior is metallic black, and the Meissen Blue color is applied to the 21-inch exclusive design rim to contrast.
The unique blue color of the “Paint to Sample” program is applied to the “Electric” lettering on the driver's door, the model name on the rear of the vehicle, and the cloud logo on the B-pillar. The front door entry guard is lettered “Jennie Ruby Jane,” and the rear door has her nickname, “NiNi,” lettering.
At Jennie's request, the Porsche typography of the current 992 generation 911 was used, and the cloud logo is projected onto the ground from the side of the vehicle through the front door logo projector. The wheel hub cover is marked with the artist's name and “Sonderwunsch.”
hmmm, I think a convertible that is easier to drive and can have multiple people get in and out easily seems more fitting for Jennie's image.
