On October 23, an OMEGA X fan took to Twitter to talk about a shocking experience she had witnessed while the group was on their world tour in Los Angeles.
In the original tweet, it was captioned:
"Everyone. We were just waiting outside for the Uber rider with the food we ordered to come, but we witnessed the kids' (OMEGA X) agency's CEO hitting them.
My hand was shaking so hard I didn't know what to do. They were hit just in front of me but I couldn't do anything."
Along with the tweet was also a video with the recording of what seems to be the agency's CEO lashing out at the members, with a loud noise which sounded like someone falling, and the CEO shouting at that person, "Get up!"
Meanwhile, as the rumors circulate, the group's agency, Spire Entertainment, has responded, "We will fact check and release a statement in a while."
Meanwhile, OMEGA X recently wrapped up their world tour "CONNECT: Don't Give Up."
This is the sad reality for many idols. We never know what's going on behind closed doors. A lot of abuse has happened and is still happening sadly enough. The first time I saw it on video was during Nine Muses' documentary. It's been a long time, but it's still the same it seems. These poor idols have to function as robots, are seen as products.
I have no words other than I feel absolutely horrible for the members. All they want to do is perform, bring fans happiness and from the inside they are hit, abused and yelled at - and that when their concert tour is "don't give up" when perhaps, with all this in mind, that's all they want to do but can't because of the legal issues ("keep your contract in mind!").
I hope better times will come their way very soon, I hope we will hear more about this soon. I am not a fan of this group, so I hope their fans will have their back and support them to the fullest.
