On the morning of October 24th, Spire Entertainment released an official statement regarding the recent allegations the label's CEO was abusing OMEGA X members.
In its statement, the label wrote, "now the members and the label have resolved all misunderstandings, and we concluded to move forward with respect for each other." Following the statement, many netizens expressed their thoughts and concerns on a popular online community.
Some of the comments include: "Aren't they still abroad with the CEO...?"
"Now that there's proof they are making it seem like a mutual misunderstanding smh"
"No one in their right mind will believe this"
"I knew they would come out like this because most members have already gone through different labels and re-debuted. I'm losing faith in humanity"
"This label is just like TS"
"Poor members. Small and shitty companies should not produce idols"
"So this statement just confirms the recordings were true"
"I doubt that there was any 'discussion' or 'conversation' given the different power dynamic"
"I feel so bad for the members. It seemed this wasn't the first time"
And they're claiming an ANTI-fan made the allegations...dude, it's a recording. Recordings can be edited and taken out of context, but other times they can be pretty damning, so why don't you investigate fully instead of writing off the allegations as a misunderstanding? Take care of your idols or disband them to keep them safe from you.
