On October 21, the members of NewJeans attended a promotional event for 'Coca-Cola', where they posed in front of the press photo wall while holding up 'Coca-Cola' signs or cans.

Previously, NewJeans garnered criticism for their eclectic fashion choices at 'KCON Japan'. Now, the group is creating a buzz with K-netizens once again, as some commented, "They look like they pulled out clothes from a used clothing donation box", "There's no other way to describe it other than... tacky", "Why do they keep doing this to these beautiful girls", "But why all of the hats...", "They look like children wearing mom's dress-up clothes from the closet", "The point of 'Y2K' isn't to bring back all of the bad fashion from that era... you're supposed to reinvent it in a trendy way", "Why can't they take into account each of the members' body types", and more.
