Earlier this year, it was revealed that Chuu had filed a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative to suspend her exclusive contract in December 2021.
Since then, many fans found instances that showed that Chuu and Blockberry Creative have not been on good terms, as Chuu has been treated poorly by the label.
On top of that, Chuu has not been participating in LOONA's latest schedules, such as LOONA's first world tour concert in Seoul. Additionally, fans are also speculating that Chuu has been removed from LOONA's group chats after revealing to fans that she did not receive any notices about attending the schedules.
Recently, fans became more upset when they found out that Chuu had paid for her recent birthday event with fans.
Chuu's fans were happy to celebrate the idol's birthday on October 20. Chuu invited her fans to a birthday event and had a wonderful time with them.
After the birthday event, it was revealed that the birthday event was not prepared by her company, but it was an event that Chuu had paid for herself.
This was revealed when the fans who weren't able to go to the event expressed they were envious of the fans who went. Chuu responded, "Next time, I'll get a bigger venue for the Potatoes (Chuu's fandom nickname)!!! This time, I had to do this with my money, that's why," explaining why she had to have the event at a small venue.
On the other hand, fans saw that Blockberry Creative had prepared a birthday celebration for member Heejin, whose birthday is one day away from Chuu's. During the group's Seoul concert, the agency prepared a surprise event for Heejin's birthday, and Heejin was able to celebrate with all the members.
This caused Chuu's fans to become sad since they have been seeing that Chuu has been neglected by the agency and left out of various group activities.
On top of that, Chuu's fans were angered when it was revealed the birthday event was solely prepared by Chuu alone.
why are they angered, she manage her personal schedule why would BBC pay for it. she specially went to court to be able to manage her own personal activities. Why would BBC pay for it if they don't manage it. Look i get it, but people need to stop being angered at BBC for things they have no control over.
